GEFICCA is also known for its expertise in over-molding. Two technical alternatives are provided to our customers : chemical bounding and mechanical bounding. In both cases, our over-molding expertise applies to components of various natures: metals, plastics, textiles...
How it works ?
Chemical bounding — After surface preparation (sandblasting, degreasing...), an adhesive previously qualified by our material laboratory is then applied to components to be over-molded.
Mechanical bounding — This technique enables to fix rubber mechanically by releasing predefined zones on the insert, allowing the bounding between the two materials.
